Quite some time ago the Mass going Catholics of the Archdiocese were asked to add to the Order of Service, a prayer for a new Archbishop.
I keep wondering why no new Archbishop has been forthcoming, after lots of prayers and lots of time.
We have been praying for a saint to descend into our Archdiocese.
Mass going Catholics are getting cynical and parishes have stopped praying the prayer.
We should have been praying for a leader. We need a permanent leader, and now.
A leader who can think clearly, grasp nettles, solve issues and lead us forward.
A new strategy to break the nexus is needed.
Can clear thinking lay members of the Church lend a hand?
The current system is not working.
