I write in reference to your article ‘Easter traditions live on’, page 5 of April 2023 on Voitre Marek.

He certainly must be considered one of South Australia’s greatest artists.

As an addendum to that article, I would like to add that the crucifixion above the altar at Our Lady of Dolours Church at Cambridge Terrace, Kingswood, and the statue outside the chapel at Calvary Hospital (arranged by my late father Dr Eugene McLaughlin), make an excellent addition to Voitre’s portfolio.

Quite often in life, the best things in life are overlooked.
