Lively music and student participation created a joyful atmosphere in the church as the congregation reflected on the legacy of Australia’s special saint. As always, the presence of Sr Joan Barry RSJ added to the occasion and reminded students and staff of the wonderful work of the Josephite Sisters and their rich history at St Joseph’s.

The annual Mary MacKillop Awards for dedication and application to learning, living Gospel values and acting for the good of others were presented. Established in memory of Jenny Puglisi, the recipients demonstrate ongoing contribution to the school community.
