Bell, the former Adelaide Thunderbirds captain and the newest member of the Collingwood Magpies Netball Club, runs a coaching business called Erin Bell Netball which conducts clinics around Australia.

Proud played for the Adelaide Thunderbirds for six years before moving to Sydney to play for the NSW Swifts where she won the club’s MVP in 2017.

High Performance athletes at the school heard the players speak of their journey to the top of netball in Australia.

Both players discussed the importance of nutrition and recovery, as well as some of the challenges that come with being in the media and the expectation to perform week in, week out.

The High Performance and Ignite Program netballers were put through a training session where they were taught some new drills and skills.

The day ended with a shared lunch for the netballers, a time to get to know Bell and Proud and find out what it’s like to be a professional netballer.
