While it wasn’t exactly part of their school uniform, students at Mercedes College were happy to put on a beanie recently to support those in need in the community.

Money raised by the students from Beanie Day held in June was donated to the Vinnies Winter Appeal, while staff contributions will help Circle of Friends, a refugee support group established by the Sisters of Mercy.
