Students at St Patrick’s Technical College are living out their faith through action by providing a free barbecue lunch for people in need.
Every Friday during school terms a small group of Year 11 and 12 students, along with the college’s Community, Spirituality and Identity coordinator John Neate, attend the Elizabeth Vinnies store and fire up the barbecue.
The activity is funded through the college’s recycling initiatives. The college also holds regular food drives and raffle fundraisers to support the local Vinnies activities.
