Sr Joanna Colerio fsp, who grew up in Clearview, celebrated her 25th anniversary of her profession as a daughter of St Paul on the feast day which falls on the 4th Sunday of Easter.

Sr Joanna entered the Daughters of St Paul in 1989, making her first profession in Rome in 1993 and her final profession at Clearview in 1999.

During Mass she renewed her vows and shared with the community her journey which she described as responding to God’s call to an ever deepening love.

She spoke about the importance of her home parish and the loving support she received there which lead her to act on the call she felt to religious life.

She encouraged everyone to reflect on the ways in which they are called by God into an ever deeper relationship of love, as this is the basis of all vocations.

Sr Joanna is currently part of the community of the Daughters of St Paul in Melbourne and was supported on her anniversary by the community in Adelaide of Sr Marisa Valzasina and Sr Grace Matsumoto.
