The event featured a strong lineup of speakers including Maggie Dent (parenting, teen wellbeing), Wayne Holdsworth (mental health, communication), Greg Attwells (digital safety, media literacy) and Madhavi Nawana Parker (emotional regulation, connection).

Each speaker addressed key topics relevant to modern parenting, such as teen anxiety, digital influences, and emotional regulation.

CSPSA executive officer Trish Jarvis said the sessions were informative and practical, offering parents tools to better support their children.

“Attendees appreciated the opportunity to connect with others in a welcoming environment, with a light lunch provided and time to engage with speakers and peers.

“The conference maintained a clear focus on strengthening families through education and shared experience.”

In the lead-up to the event, attendees were invited to bring donations for Centacare’s Louise Place, a service supporting young women and children. Despite the short notice, four baskets of toiletries, gift cards and other essentials were collected.

“This annual event continues to grow in attendance and impact, reflecting the commitment of Catholic school parents to both learning and community support,” Trish said.
