When Thomas More College held a Domestic Violence and Candlelit Vigil and march on June 27, it honoured lives affected by domestic violence.
Since taking over from the highly respected Professor Denis Ralph as chair of the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools, John Neate has been putting his own stamp on the body responsible for 101 schools educating 52,000 students across the State.
Nine outstanding South Australian educators, including one who helps students raise chickens called Hennifer Lopez and Eggie Betts, were recognised at the annual Catholic Education Awards ceremony on May 18.
Thomas More College introduced a secondary challenge to link to the Premier’s Reading Challenge in 2022, with the intention of encouraging more students from Years 7 – 12 to become involved with the literary program.
