It was the middle of winter but the sun shone on Kaurna Country when Ngani Pari-Arra Cultural Centre hosted its NAIDOC Week event on 9 July. The space in Stepney is dedicated to truth-telling, connection and healing. All three were on show as Centacare’s Uncle in Residence, Les Wanganeen, addressed the crowd.

The annual Archbishop’s Christmas Card Competition has again attracted hundreds of entries from Catholic students around SA.
Tea Tree Gully parish, winner of the Adelaide Archdiocese’s Safeguarding Sunday art competition, has been praised for its commitment to giving children a voice.
Up to 35 residents and clients at Southern Cross Care (SA, NT and Vic) have been meeting weekly – some for 12 years – to keep their voices tuned, develop choral techniques including acapella, and sing their hearts out.
Children in parishes will be busy showing their artistic skills this month when they take part in a competition being conducted by the Adelaide Archdiocese as part of Child Protection Week.
