Historic South West region liturgy

Students and staff from eight Catholic primary schools in the South West region made history when they gathered for a liturgy at Sacred Heart College, Somerton Park, during Catholic Education Week.
St John the Baptist , St Teresa’s Brighton, Stella Maris, St Martin de Porres, Our Lady of Grace, St Anthony’s St Bernadette’s Nativity and Christ the King schools participated in the celebration which included a liturgy led by Administrator Delegate Fr Philip Marshall and a concert.
One student from each school brought school candles to the altar as a symbol of lighting the way and being the Good News for all.
Acclaimed Christian musician Andrew Chinn led the combined choir during the liturgy and performed for students after lunch on the SHC Main Oval.
