Easter fun at the zoo

As part of this year’s Easter celebrations, Year 10 and 11 students from Mercedes College volunteered at the annual Ladies of Variety Children’s Easter Picnic held on March 27.
Hosted at the Adelaide Zoo, the event was attended by more than 1600 children, along with their carers and representatives from schools and organisations around the State.
The fun day began with Mercedes students forming a guard of honour for the children, who then participated in dancing, amusement rides and selecting show bags.
Mercedes College has been involved in the event for the past 12 years, with students grateful for the opportunity to help children in need.
