Exploring Aboriginal spirituality
Schools
Catholic secondary principals gathered in Victor Harbor last term for a retreat on Aboriginal spirituality.
On behalf of the Australian Principals of Catholic Secondary Schools, the retreat team of Cathy Whewell and Roma Aloisi, and Aboriginal presenters Pastor Ray Minniecon and Jonathon Hermawan, took the group on a walk around Granite Island.
The retreat was an opportunity for the principals to experience Aboriginal Spirituality as a living source of wisdom and encounter with God and to engage with Aboriginal Spirituality as a pathway into their own encountering God in the land, through silence and reflective dialogue.
