After three postponements due to COVID, members of the Catholic Women’s League were excited to gather in the Cathedral Hall recently for their long-awaited annual general meeting.
There were 28 women representing 14 branches across the State in attendance, as well as CWL chaplain Fr Brian Angus who gave the opening reflection.
Business proceeded rapidly with reports from the retiring State president Cecilia Quigley as well as Diocesan reports from Barbara Mott, Adelaide Archdiocese, and Anne Marie Clark, Port Pirie Diocese.
All positions were declared vacant and Fr Brian had the relatively easy task of listing the new office bearers, as nominations had been filled beforehand.

Anne Redden gave an update from the Future Directions Sub Committee, focusing on the results of the restructure survey.
