Community of the Risen Lord (CRL) will hold a retreat at St Michael’s College, Beverley, on July 6 and 7.

The Adelaide based CRL prayer group represents people of various nationalities who gather every Friday evening at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Parish, Edwardstown, for a praise and worship service which includes catechism for children, Word of God and Eucharistic adoration.

Community of the Risen Lord was founded in the 1980s in Sri Lanka by Lalith Perera with the intention of inviting people to experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit in a new way. The community has been recognised as a national movement by the Bishops’ Conference in Sri Lanka.

The Australian mission started in 2012 and today there are eight different prayer groups actively operating throughout all capital cities in Australia including Adelaide.

The ‘Transforming into the Mind of Christ’ retreat will be conducted by Lalith Perera from 10am to 5pm. For further details please contact Manjula on 0452 221 079.
