City and regional schools will host more than 70 open days and school tours, welcoming parents, carers and families who are exploring schooling options to discover the benefits of a Catholic education.
“Catholic Schools Open Week is an invitation for families to connect with their local Catholic school community and see how a Catholic education can support their child’s learning, faith formation, and wellbeing,” said Neil McGoran, executive director, Catholic Education South Australia.
“Our schools are places of high-quality learning and formation where life-long values are built,” Dr McGoran said.
“We are committed to helping every student flourish, according to their individual talents and aspirations. If you are at the stage of looking for a school for your child, whether for early years, primary or secondary we encourage you to take a tour, meet the staff and students and experience it firsthand.”
To support the week, CESA has launched a marketing campaign, with 172 students – including almost a third from regional and rural areas – taking part in photo shoots earlier this year to feature in advertising on bus shelters, billboards, in retail outlets, on the back of buses, in print and online and across radio.
Stories from across school communities will be shared in the lead up to and during Catholic Schools Open Week at cesa.catholic.edu.au.
Open Week activities vary by school, with some hosting scheduled events and others offering personalised tours on request. Families can find participating schools and book a tour via the CESA website.
