There are many ways to show support for the environment, and no better time to do it than the Season of Creation, an annual Christian celebration that calls people together to pray and respond jointly to the cry of Creation.

Inspired by the patron saint of creativity, St Hildegard, Catholic school students from around the State have produced beautiful artworks showing how they can be ‘agents of change’ in today’s world.
Parishioners throughout the Archdiocese are being encouraged to ‘tune in to nature and to each other’ during the Season of Creation celebration.
Surrounded by beautiful gumtrees, with native animals and birdlife on its doorstep, Blackwood parish had no hesitation in deciding to register as a Catholic Earthcare Parish.
Local parishes and communities have been urged to take action to save the planet and its creatures, following the release of the Archdiocese’s Laudato Si’ Action Platform and Strategic Plan in September.
