Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ was the inspiration for the Salisbury Parish Team Day held on August 25.
As part of the day’s activities, members of the leadership teams from Thomas More College, Holy Family School, St Augustine’s Parish School and staff of the Salisbury parish visited the Northern Adelaide Waste Management Authority’s centre in Edinburgh.
St Augustine’s APRIM Rachele Tullio, who organised the tour, said it provided a great platform for understanding practical ways to recycle items and care for our common home.
