Easter Vigil

The Easter Vigil Mass was a special time for 30 new members of the Adelaide Archdiocese who received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Communion in their parishes. Nine catechumens from the Adelaide Cathedral parish were baptised by Archbishop Patrick O’Regan in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral. Another two candidates were received at the Mass after participating in the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) program.

Rite move for Adelaide mum

After a faith journey spanning several years and different continents, Elizabeth Reed is feeling a sense of “peace and contentment” as she prepares to be received into the Catholic Church at next week’s Easter Vigil.

In memory of Jesus

As we move through the month of November we are conscious that this year is coming to closure, and we are also in the process of looking ahead to plan and prepare for the coming year.
