The Season of Creation is an annual celebration that spans from September 1 (the Day of Prayer for Creation) to October 4 (the Feast of St Francis of Assisi). It is a time when Christians all over the world come together to reflect on the biblical call to care for God's creation and to take action to address environmental issues. Although the ‘celebration’ spans for a month, our call to care for creation is ongoing.

During the Season of Creation, we have many opportunities to reflect on our call to care for creation.
As the Adelaide Archdiocese celebrates the Season of Creation during September, many school and parish communities are finding innovative ways to heed Pope Francis’ call to care for our common home.
