To commemorate the 800th anniversary of the death of St Dominic, Blackfriars Priory School and ATF Press is holding an exhibition of artwork by Korean-born Dominican friar Fr Kim En Joong.
Established by the Dominican Sisters in 1869, St Mary’s College is the oldest continuously running school for girls in South Australia and this month it will celebrate its sesquicentenary with the launch of a project featuring 150 stories from students through the ages.
When Rita Shepherd decided in 2008 to take a group of students from St Dominic’s Priory College to an orphanage in India to “broaden their perspective”, she had no idea what she was getting herself into.
