Joshua is currently acting principal in Paul Belton’s absence until mid-Term 3 and was instrumental in St Paul’s transitioning from an all-boys college into a co-educational school.

He has also significantly developed and advanced the college through resourcing, both human and physical.

The academic results of the college have dramatically improved under his leadership, evident by all relevant metrics.

The college is renowned for its outstanding Wellbeing program, thanks largely to his leadership, and for providing different pathways for diverse learners and backgrounds, reflected in the 47 different languages spoken in the family home.

Patrick’s latest achievement at Kildare College is the official launch of Enlight, a Gifted Education Program.

An educator for five years, Patrick is known for his leadership, determination, character and mentorship to both students and staff at the college.

In his three years as the Gifted Education key teacher, Patrick has introduced a diverse array of teaching and learning initiatives and strategies through workshops.

His contributions have significantly impacted literacy at Kildare College, spanning across both English and Gifted Education domains.

Each year The Educator Australia celebrates the best young teachers across the nation, distinguishing themselves with their commitment and passion.
