St Gabriel’s School at Enfield held its third consecutive SALA exhibition last month as it continues to provide students with opportunities to share their work and achievements with the school and wider community.

More than 1000 pieces of art by students and staff were displayed in the school gymnasium along with artwork from two First Nations artists Lydia Gauci and Nikki Carabetta who have been artists in residence at the school.

Every student, from the playgroup members to Year 6, participated in the exhibition.

St Gabriel’s has 300 students from 29 different cultural backgrounds and follows the charism of the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart.

South Australian Living Arts (SALA) is a statewide festival of visual art established in 1998 to promote and celebrate the many talented visual artists in South Australia.
