The choir of 20 students from St John the Apostle School, Emmaus Catholic School and Cardijn Galilee Campus learnt six songs in a short space of time prior to performing at the event, which also featured Indonesian musicians and dancers.

Held at Pinky Flat, on the River Torrens in the city, the festival honoured Indonesian culture, food, art and music.

Special guests included dignitaries from the Indonesian Consulate in Canberra, Adelaide Lord Mayor, Dr Jane Lomax Smith, and a number of representatives from Indonesian community organisations in South Australia.
