Meeting all fees, the Mercedes Old Scholars’ Association (MOSA) Scholarship is awarded every three years to a student entering Year 10 and covers their education through to the completion of Year 12. Applications for the next scholarship, to be offered in 2023, are now open.

Elsa Conlon

Old scholar and MOSA committee member, Elsa Conlon, said the scholarship opens the “door to opportunity for people to flourish”.

“We wanted to make a difference to the lives of future students, and our inaugural recipient, now in Year 12, is flourishing both academically and in many extra curricula pursuits,” she said.

“The scholarship is our way of giving something back – or paying forward – the opportunities afforded to us so that others can learn and grow.

“The recipient is able to select their own SACE or IB study path and they experience world class learning underpinned by excellent teaching and state-of-the-art resources.

“Learning in a really friendly and values-centred environment is rewarding and fun, and there’s no doubt that Mercedes College fosters confident, community minded graduates. The campus is also renowned for its wide open spaces and beautiful gardens, as well as contemporary learning spaces and a very welcoming community.”
