The biggest single event in the SACPSSA calendar, the event was a huge success and a credit to the organisers who ensured it was both COVID safe and fun for all.

The carnival was originally scheduled for August 5 but a snap COVID lockdown forced its postponement to August 18.

Children from Years 3 to 7 competed in 26 events grouped into three divisions.

‘Keep going…you’ve got this’ was the catch cry of the day as students cheered each other on throughout the 2km course.

SACPSSA executive officer Darren Elliott described the carnival as an “extraordinary Catholic schools community event”.
