Riding into Holy Week
Schools
St Augustine's Parish School at Salisbury celebrated the beginning of Holy Week with a visit from two special guests.

Irfan Ahmadi with his mother Zahra and youngest sister Elina on one of the donkeys that visited the school this week.
Daisy and Mary-Lou were a big hit with the school’s 677 students who gathered on the oval to greet the donkeys.
Year 6 student Irfan Ahmadi had double cause for celebration, celebrating his 11th birthday on March 29.
The donkeys represent Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday which was celebrated on March 28..
As a parish school, St Augustine’s is presenting Holy Week liturgies every day with a different focus.
