At the 11th international conference for Adolescent Success held in Brisbane in August, Xavier College was awarded the coveted Future Ready Students Award.

Presented by the Adolescent Success Association, the award acknowledges Xavier’s ‘exemplary practice and the positive influence on the education of adolescent learners’, and the ‘promotion of quality Middle Years education’.

Commenting on the award, principal Lynn Martin praised the “exceptional staff” at the Gawler Belt school.

“Xavier is very proud of all that contributed to the award including impactful transition programs, inspirational curriculum and an innovative approach to Middle Years curriculum that facilitates pathways for future success,” he said.

“Our exceptional staff should be very proud of their efforts, particularly in preparing our new Year 7s this year for the first time, and thoroughly deserve the recognition received through this award.”

Adolescent Success is a national organisation that serves middle level educators by providing current best practice and research using events, publications and networking opportunities.
