Artist in residence Bindi Amor has been working with students of all ages, creating artwork for the school’s biennial exhibition titled Traces of Us, Watch Us Grow.

Bindi has encouraged them with their approach to art, allowing the process to take place ‘how, when and where’ the students feel comfortable. This has resulted in the students expressing their creativity using various mediums, including painting, mosaics and sculpture to produce beautiful works of art.

The exhibition is open to the public on Saturday September 1 and Sunday September 2 from 10am to 2pm in the Our Lady of La Vang school hall, Malcolm Street, Flinders Park.

All artwork on display will be available for purchase and accompanying each piece will be a short story written by Bindi documenting how it was created.
