Retiring St Paul’s College principal Paul Belton has been recognised nationally for his exceptional leadership skills by the Catholic Secondary Principals Australia (CaSPA).
Following on from his Leadership Excellence Award at the Catholic Education SA Awards earlier this year, Mr Belton was announced last month as the winner of CaSPA’s Excellence in Leadership National Award.
The pinnacle award recognises the principal who has demonstrated high levels of leadership across a broad range of areas related to Catholic secondary education.
Mr Belton has held positions at St Michael’s College, Marcellin Technical College, Rostrevor College, and currently, St Paul’s. He will retire at the end of the year.
South Australian principals Andrew Balkwill and Damien Judd, both of whom have held leadership roles for 18 years, and David Mezinec (24 years) were also recognised with Meritorious Awards.
