Italian theologian coming to Adelaide

Renowned Italian theologian and author Massimo Faggilio, PhD, will give a public presentation in Adelaide next month while spending two weeks working with local clergy, laity and Catholic Education SA.
Dr Faggioli (pictured) is a professor of Catholic Studies at the University of Villanova in the United States of America and is regarded as an expert on the history and administrative workings of the Catholic Church and the papacy.
A commentator, writer and columnist for La Croix International and Commonweal, he is frequently featured in the national and international media for his views on theological, religious and Church-related issues ranging from the historical to the contemporary.
His public presentation is entitled Preparing for the Jubilee Year in 2025: Vatican II, Synodality and Pope Francis.
Prof Faggilio will also conduct sessions with Diocesan staff and members of councils and commissions on Reading the Signs of the Times and Synodality, Ministry and Mission.
