Christmas artwork recognised

The annual Archbishop’s Christmas card competition attracted more than 800 entries from around the State.
This year’s winners of Wallis Cinema passes were: Lenny Edwards, 7, Whitefriars Catholic School, Woodville Park; Imogen Pacchiano, 6, St Aloysius College, city; Josie Semple, 7, St Catherine’s School, Stirling; and Brooke Cotton, 11, School of the Nativity, Aberfoyle Park.
Brooke’s image was selected for the Archbishop’s electronic Christmas card. A highly commended entry was from Evelyn Carlson, Year 6, Tenison Woods Catholic School Richmond.
National Catholic Education Commission executive director Jacinta Collins selected the artwork of Maddison Loader, Year 6, Caritas College, Port Augusta, to be used on her Christmas card.
All entrants will receive a certificate.
