A book written by the late Fr Denis Edwards OAM has won first place in the Faith and Science category of the 2020 Catholic Book Awards.

The awards are held annually by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada to recognise the outstanding work of publishers, authors, and book editors.
Deep Incarnation: God’s Redemptive Suffering with Creatures by Denis Edwards was submitted by his publisher Orbis Books.
The Adelaide priest and renowned theologian died unexpectedly on March 5 2019. In his final book, which was launched a few months after his death, Edwards argues that Christians have even deeper reasons to cherish the natural world.
