A feast of classical music will echo through St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral this month.

The final two Fringe lunchtime concerts will feature Dr Amir Robin-Karas and Andrew Georg playing the unique Casavant Frères pipe organ on March 10 and March 17. This follows the performance of Jacinta Jakovcevic from Perth at the first concert on March 3.
On Friday March 26 at 7.30pm, the Adelaide Baroque Orchestra and Countertenor Max Riebl will perform An Easter Passion, comprising Haydn’s masterpiece The Seven Last Words of Christ and Vivaldi’s sublime Stabat Mater.
The concert is one of three being presented by Valley Productions with the other two performances being held at St Aloysius Church, Sevenhill, on March 27 at 7.30pm and St Mary’s Church, Burra, on March 28 at 2.30pm.
