Ordination to priesthood

Deacon Pat Lopresti will be ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop O’Regan in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral on October 24 at 10am.
The former Adelaide lawyer was in his fifties when he finally decided to pursue a religious vocation and since 2016 has been studying at the Pope St John XXIII National Seminary in Massachusetts, USA.
Attendance will be limited but online bookings will be available via www.trybooking.com/BLVCR.
For those who are not able to attend, the Mass will be live streamed. Archbishop O’Regan said the ordination was a significant event for the Archdiocese and he asked people to keep Deacon Lopresti in their prayers.
