Mercy Sisters clock up 460 years

Seven South Australian Mercy Sisters – who in total have given 460 years of service to God – gathered for a special celebration on Mercy day.
Srs Helen Owens and Marie Ralph were 60 years professed on January 6 this year and Sr Ilsa Neicinieks followed suit on January 28.
Srs Loyola Crowe, Ruth Egar, Tess Flaherty and Cynthia Griffin will be 70 years professed on December 8.
Sr Daphne McKeough from NSW also celebrated her diamond jubilee this year and was able to join the SA celebrations held on September 24.
