Members of Adelaide’s African Catholic Community celebrated the feast of St Daniel Comboni in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral on October 15. Four children were baptised at the feast Mass and one child was confirmed and received first holy communion. The annual Catholic Schools Music Festival brought together about 2000 upper primary and secondary students from 71 regional and metropolitan Catholic schools who performed in four massed choirs, instrumental ensembles, vocal groups and as solo artists.
