Good tidings after family tragedy

Eight months after their parents were tragically killed in a car crash, Bhava and Palvith are smiling again and full of hope, thanks largely to the wonderful support of their loving aunt, family friends, members of the Indian community and St Bernadette’s School.

Made with love for 50 years

When Iris Steward, Nora Nelson, Myrt Lynch and Gert Richards got together on July 23 1969 to start making clothes for needy families, little did they know that 50 years later the St Marys Sewing Group would still be meeting once a week and producing thousands of items each year.
