Bishops prepare to elect new president

Archbishop Mark Coleridge’s tenure as president of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference will conclude next week, after the Holy See asked that bishops not serve in leadership roles in bishops conferences past 75.

Assembly consultation begins

Parishes and communities will soon receive a video for screening at weekend Masses and postcards for written feedback as part of the consultation process for the forthcoming Diocesan Assembly.

Blackwood forum tackles diverse Church issues

Greater involvement of lay people in decision making, the role of women in the Church, and making the Mass and other activities more ‘attractive and meaningful’ were some of the topics raised at a community forum hosted by the Blackwood parish on October 29.

Staying positive in challenging times
