United in prayers for bushfire recovery

Local faith leaders, including Administrator Delegate Father Philip Marshall, participated in an interfaith prayer service for bushfire recovery and resilience at St Peter’s Cathedral on Australia Day. The Archdiocese was also represented by acting Chancellor Sarah Moffatt and Catholic Earthcare regional leader Philippa Rowland, who is president of the Multifaith Association of South Australia.

Christians and Jews of Adelaide stood together in solidarity against hatred and oppression on the anniversary of Kristallnacht or ‘night of broken glass’, a turning point in the Nazi's persecution of Jews as Germans rioted across the country on November 9, 1938, targeting Jewish homes and businesses.
