New project for at risk youth

Centacare Catholic Family Services has partnered with Housing Choices Australia and Aboriginal Sobriety Group on an innovative project to prevent young people falling into homelessness after exiting out-of-home care.


Funding reprieve for Hutt St Centre

The State Government will provide $852,000 in transitional funding to Hutt St Centre, to enable the organisation to take on up to an additional 80 people experiencing homelessness between now and June 2022, providing them with intensive, long-term case management through the Aspire program.


Sleepout raises a record $900,000

Torrential rain didn’t dampen the spirits of the 125 business and community leaders who took part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout at Lot Fourteen on June 17, with a record $907,000 being raised to help fund the organisation’s homelessness services.
