Fr Dean Marin will take over as Vicar General of the Adelaide Archdiocese next month as one of several appointments announced by Archbishop O’Regan.
Currently parish priest of Mount Gambier and Millicent, Fr Marin will take up his new role on January 21 2022 and will also coordinate the Vocations team. He will replace Fr Philip Marshall who has served as either Vicar General or Apostolic Administrator’s Delegate for the past 12 years.
Announcing the new appointments on Friday, Archbishop O’Regan thanked Fr Marshall for the manner in which he had fulfilled these roles, “often under difficult circumstances, yet always with generosity, compassion and wisdom”.
