The Ministry Formation Program welcomed past and new students at an Orientation Day held recently.
Fr Paul Cashen MSC and Vicar General Fr Philip Marshall supported the day with their reflections on the spirituality of ministry and formation and how these are relevant in our day-to-day living.
The MFP was pleased to welcome 11 students that are new to the program as well as the 19 who are continuing. Fr Philip commissioned those new to the program during Mass held on the day.
New team members Tee Ping Koh and Sonia Kravinskis were also welcomed as was the new acting director Annette Heinemann. She replaces Margaret Speechley who retired last month after nine years in the position and more than 40 years in Catholic education.
The MFP has had a positive response to the program for 2021 which focuses on the four pillars –theological, spiritual, pastoral and human.
