The Faculty of Theology and Philosophy has created the Edwards Fellowship which will enable post-doctoral researchers to produce new work in the field of theology, science and ecology.

Fr Edwards was Professor of Theology at the ACU Adelaide Campus and was the author of 14 books on the dialogue between science and faith. As a pioneer in the engagement of theology, science and ecology, the Fellowship aims to support academic research that will continue his work.

The successful candidate will receive a three-month fellowship at Laudato Si’ Research Institute at Campion Hall, Oxford University, to produce a high quality academic publication in the field.

The Edwards Fellowship will be available for the first time in 2020 for scholars affiliated with the ACU.
