Vinnies presidents commissioned

New presidents for St Vincent de Paul Society conferences in the Southern Region were commissioned by Monsignor Rob Egar in September.
Marie Good (Glenelg), Eleanora Truskewycz (Blackwood), Bill Braithwaite (St Marys) and Jane Osborne (Seacombe Gardens) have taken on the important role for their conferences.
New members Aileen Bagnall and Lidia Braithwaite were welcomed to the Society at the commissioning Mass held in Our Lady of Grace Church, Glengowrie.
Southern Region president Andrew Tamassy acknowledged and thanked outgoing presidents Brian Sherman , George Bastiani, Fran Camilleri and Peter Donovan for their many years of service to “our poor and needy companions”.
“Their selfless work and conference leadership has been much appreciated by our conference members and companions,” he said.
