Lest we forget

Catholic college students joined defence personnel and local Members of Parliament at the annual ANZAC Day vigil Mass in St Francis Xavier's Cathedral on Wednesday.
Former navy chaplain Monsignor Ian Dempsey said the ANZACs had made great sacrifices and this was a reminder for all of us to put others before ourselves.
“ANZAC Day is a day of a remembrance but also a time for us to reflect on what we are doing to continue to work for the peace and freedom which they won for us,” he said.
Father Philip Marshall, Administrator Delegate, led the annual procession to the War Memorial in North Terrace where wreaths were laid.
