Reflecting on their faith journey
Local
‘Where is God on our journey’ was the theme for a seminar on spirituality held by the Ministry Formation team last month.
The day-long session provided an opportunity for participants to reflect and make meaning of their faith journey.
Guest speaker Emeritus Bishop Eugene Hurley explored some questions including: ‘how might I encounter the presence of Jesus in my everyday life?’, ‘where do we meet Him?’ and ‘how do we recognise Jesus and how do we aid others to discover the presence of Jesus?’.
Attended by students from the Ministry Formation Program – including three from the Port Pirie diocese – pastoral associates, past students and friends, the day ended with Eucharist celebrated in St Peter Claver Church at Dulwich.
The next MFP formational seminar ‘A Day in Creation’ will be held in the Botanic Gardens on April 29, with attendees invited to reflect on Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’.
