South Australian Catholics who can’t make it to the episcopal ordination of Adelaide priest Father Charles Gauci will be able to view the live streaming of the event on YouTube.
The ordination Mass will take place at 7pm in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral in Darwin on Wednesday September 26.
It will be co-concelebrated by retiring Darwin Bishop Eugene Hurley and Perth Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton, who was in the seminary with Bishop Elect Gauci.
The Adelaide faithful will have two opportunities to celebrate with Bishop Elect Gauci: at a Vigil Mass in St Luke’s Church, Noarlunga at 6pm on October 6 and at a Mass of Thanksgiving in St Francis Xavier’s Cathedral at 11am on Sunday October 7.
