The tenth anniversary of the founding of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of the Southern Cross (OLSC) by Pope Benedict XVI will take place on Trinity Sunday, June 12.

OLSC is best described as a Catholic Ordinariate, initially for people of the Anglican tradition, who have been received into full communion with the Catholic Church. However, all Catholics may fully participate. Like the Australian Military Ordinariate, it is non-geographical, with communities in most Australian states, as well as Japan, the Philippines, Torres Strait Islands and Guam.

The Ordinary is Monsignor Carl Reid PA, who resides in Sydney.

The main celebration for the Adelaide Ordinariate Community of St John Henry Newman will be 11am Mass on Trinity Sunday in St Monica’s Church, Walkerville, to which all are welcome.
