Timor-Leste friendship strengthened

The close connection between Timor-Leste and Australia was evident last month when the Vicar General of the Dili Archdiocese, Fr Graciano Santos Barros, visited Adelaide.

Country kindness for seasonal workers

When members of the Port Augusta Parish Pastoral Council decided it wanted to do something to cheer up seasonal workers who have been doing it tough due to COVID, they turned to a dose of good old country hospitality.

Extending warm welcome to seasonal workers

Parishes around the Archdiocese are being encouraged to reach out, connect and extend a hand of welcome to the hundreds of seasonal workers from the Pacific Islands who are currently working in the State.

Season’s greetings

They are thousands of kilometres from their families and loved ones but a group of young East Timorese are feeling right at home, thanks to the warm welcome they have received from the Mount Barker/Strathalbyn parish.
